You’ve probably heard about the importance of special play-time with your child. It improves your connection/bond, which can lead to improved listening and calmer emotions at home.
But what are you supposed to do when you work full-time? And you have 3 kids? Oh! And two of them have ADHD?
There is legit parenting advice that we know is good for kids, but if you live in the modern world of “so that” it can be tricky to figure out how to turn it into practical action.
During my Mad to Glad Blueprint Live Online Course last year, Chrissy shared about her 3 kids and asked how to PRACTICALLY incorporate special play-time into her family’s everyday life.

As you heard, Chrissy’s family lives in a world of “so that:”
“I wake up early so that --- we can help our 3 boys get ready…”
“So that – we can get to work on time…”
“So that – we can leave work on time to pick the boys up from 2 places…”
“So that – we can make dinner…”
“So that – we can keep the laundry going, do the dishes, start bedtime…”
It makes sense that she asked a practical question, “When/how are we supposed to play during the week?”
In my online parent training, we do something called spot coaching.
After each short lesson of the week, parents ask questions on how to apply the strategy into their unique family’s circumstances.
I coach them on-the-spot, so parents walk away with a real-world action plan on how to apply the strategy. Other parents on the call get to listen, chime in using the chat box, and learn from each other.
We do this for eight-weeks. As a community. All with the support and guidance of a certified parent coach (me!).
If you want parenting tools that work to improve connection, listening, and happiness – just in time for summer – join me for my next online course.
