Weekends are Calmer (Strategy Inside)

Do you remember how weekends felt before you had kids?

Relaxing.  Fun.  Productive.

If you could name it, you could have it.  Before kids, there was plenty of Me-Time.

Now, we share our time with little ones, so weekends are often about their emotions, their recovery needs, whims and desires.

Not bad, just different.

To make the most of your weekend now, it takes strategy and forethought.

Elif, mother of 2, generously agreed to share her story about the Mad to Glad strategy she used to successfully de-escalate her 5-year-old daughter and guide her to bed.

Click to watch “Calmer Weekend” Strategy [runtime 3 minutes].

The Circle Back Technique is a powerful way to help your little one feel heard so they can turn down the volume and stop yelling.

When your child is calmer, they listen better.

When they listen better (and go to bed without a fight), you have the space to enjoy weekends again!

Techniques like these are discussed twice a month during my live Mad to Glad Community calls that include on-the-spot coaching with me.

If you purchased Mad to Glad Blueprint in the past, you are invited to join us at the founding member rate of $79 w/ coupon AWESOM2023 here (expires January 31, 2023).

Friends…Weekends can be fun again!

If you can name it, we can move toward it.

Cheers to calmer, smoother weekends!

With love,

Samantha
