Have you ever thought, “I wouldn’t resort to yelling if my kid’s trauma reactions didn’t take all my energy in the first place?”

Bridget, a solo mom of three children (two who live with trauma symptoms), recently shared this thought with us.

She said, “My home is naturally chaotic…”

“...Add in high needs…”

“Trauma,”

“Play therapy appointments and Occupational Therapy sessions,”

“Plus middle of the day phone calls from school asking me to pick my eldest up,”

“And I’m in survival.”

One day, as she sat in a waiting room during her child’s appointment, she saw a flier for the Mad to Glad Blueprint.

Bridget said, “I always wanted tools FOR ME to use at home and it looked like parent coaching offers that” -- so she set up a private virtual session with us.

Listen to her story on how she gained step by step parenting tools that brought calm into her complicated family dynamic.

Bridget shares how she used to think:

  • My child manipulates; I can’t keep up
  • Huge reactions take all my energy and I resort to yelling
  • I can’t parent the way I know I’m “SUPPOSED” to

And, how she thinks (and parents) now!

Listen to Bridget’s parenting story here:

When you are a smart, intentional parent who makes the effort to get your child the help they need -- but your home is still filled with stress -- you need parenting tools that are easy and effective.
